SAT or ACT? THAT IS the question.

Strategy is important on the English and Reading sections of the SAT & ACT.  How does the wording of the questions tell you what to look for?  What patterns do wrong answers follow that help you recognize and eliminate them?

To succeed on the SAT & ACT you need not only to understand grammatical concepts, but also to recognize the errors so you can quickly identify the correct answers and move on to the next question.

We’ll teach you every grammar, punctuation, and usage rule you’ll need to know.  You’ll learn them by rote and in context.  Understanding the rules helps you find the right answers.  Learning how to recognize errors and patterns quickly is the surest way to finish entire test sections and give yourself time to check your answers.

Tricks of the trade

LEARN STRATEGIES TO MAXIMIZE READING COMPREHENSION.

DEcoding the message

LEARN TO INTERPRET HOW QUESTIONS ARE WORDED IN ORDER TO KNOW WHAT'S BEING ASKED.
A question may ask what something means “in the context of the passage.” Another asks what a word or phrase “most nearly means.”  The ACT and SAT word their questions carefully to communicate precisely what they are asking.  We teach you what these key phrases mean and how to use them to your advantage.
